The Comprehensive Healing Apprenticeship Program (CHAP) has been made anew and renamed. The Apprentice Program has been enhanced by leaps and bounds, now toting more profound teachings, fewer class hours, and lesser tuition. The changes to this program are so vast and wonderful you’ll just have to read about them yourself. Come experience personal healing so deep you too will be made anew! And learn how you can implement the same in your family, friends and clients.

RAT ~ Reiki for Animals ~ Training: For Professional Animal Caretakers & Organizations
(special training for those who work with animals)

Reiki is a very powerful option for treating animals. And there are different techniques involved in this practice. With Reiki, it is possible to enhance the healing processes of the animals under your care, regardless of the animal’s size, breed, specie, or condition.

The goodness of Reiki is that it doesn’t require touch right on, making it a wonderful adjunct for serious wounds and burns, and also easily applicable when an animal is aggressive, venomous, or connected to any medical machines that might be interrupted if the animal were physically handled.

Stop Using Dogs as Live Shark Bait!

I was completely mortified when I caught wind of this atrocity …

Innocent stray dogs are being skewered alive and being dragged behind boats as shark bait. Help Animal Rights and sign a letter to the French government to ask for an end to this inhumane practice in Reunion Island (French-controlled). We are asking the government to make sure this never happens again. You can WATCH THE VIDEO that shows the poor dog being rescued — see below. Here is the petition:

Video of a rescued dog before all the hooks and lines were taken out of its body: http://www.viddler.com/explore/SavePups/videos/1/ ~ Not for the weak-hearted!

As you know, I don’t normally post items such as this. Under the circumstances, however, I felt it was necessary to spread the word so we can, by God’s grace, stop this unforgivable terror.

Christian the Lion

This is one amazing story. If you’ve ever questioned the power of love, the power and difference behind every little action, perhaps this will help you see …

Note from a RBBT client

I saw a headline about this when surfing the web, checked into it for authenticity, and discovered it’s [most likely] true. Perhaps you’ve seen it. If not, and you have a moment, read the whole story… don’t just watch the video. Animal stories like this blow me away!

Pet Support Services – Lansing MI

Pet Support Services is a Lansing-based non-profit corporation which is run solely by volunteers and donations from the community and local businesses.

Their mission is to assist people with special medical and physical challenges in keeping, feeding, and caring for their companion animals.

PSS is unique in that they serve as an intervention at the request of the pet owner when the pet owner has fallen upon short-term or long-term financial or physical hardships, so the pet does not have to be given up by the pet owner, a situation that adds to our overpopulation of homelss pets and leaving the owners without what is often their best friend and companion.

Clients must reside in either Eaton or Ingham counties of Michigan.
